This study uses the KANO model to systematically analyze the adaptability of traditional village landscapes, focusing on Hongjiatuan Village in Hefei. Satisfaction surveys with villagers, tourists, and landscape design professionals help identify different attributes of landscape elements, such as attractive, expected, must-have, indifferent, reverse, and questionable attributes. Cross-analysis categorizes landscapes into types with general or high adaptability. Results show that asphalt-paved roads, large water bodies, green vegetation, and cultural landscapes reflecting local customs received high satisfaction across all groups. Increasing interest in historical and cultural landscapes highlights a growing demand for spiritual and cultural experiences. Based on these findings, the study suggests strategies to enhance Hongjiatuan’s landscape adaptability by improving public spaces, preserving village patterns, restoring traditional buildings, and promoting cultural tourism. These strategies aim to boost the landscape’s overall cohesion and appeal, providing a theoretical foundation and practical guidance for revitalizing traditional village landscapes. |
