| 徽州地处皖南盆地，因山多地少，徽州古村落立足于山水“夹缝”，曲于地形地势，古村落在选址与规划过程中，一般依山就势，沿溪顺河，山、水因素既符合自然环境特征，又追求人居建筑与自然环境的和谐融合。特别关注与生活、生产息息相关的水资源，古村落经过对“水口”的不断规划、修建与完善，陆续构成徽州古村落独具特色的“水口园林”，现存村志多有记载，通过对岩寺、沙溪等古村落“水口”建设实践的剖析，探讨徽州古村落形态万千所蕴含的环境意趣与情感意义。 |

| Huizhou is located in the southern Anhui，with many mountains and little flat land.Hence，the location and layout ofancient villages here are generally determined by mountains and rivers nereby，which reflect both the environment characteristics andthe harmonious relationship between architecture and environment.The importance of water in people’s daily life generates shuikougarden，namely the gardenesque water gap at the entrance to a village，which is a unique architecture form of Huizhou ancient villagesand is mentioned in many village records.This paper studies the construction of shuikou in Huizhou ancient villages such as Yansi andShaxi and analyzes their aesthetic and humanistic values. |
