| 美国作家卡佛的名篇《大教堂》中建筑意象引人瞩目。空间批评理论认为，空间不再是静止的容器，而
是蕴含着丰富的多维文化信息。借鉴空间批评理论视角，探讨《大教堂》的空间化隐喻叙事艺术。文本中，城堡、
监狱和大教堂的建筑意象相克相生，表现自我突破固守与禁闭，获得新生和成长。空间概念在《大教堂》中呈现
出丰富的艺术表现形式和深层的思想内涵。 |

| The constructive images in Cathedral，the most popular one among Carver`s short stories，are impressive. According
to spacial critical theories，the textual space has not been the stable one any longer，but has achieved rich cultural
connotations. The contrasted images，castle，prison and cathedral，are overwinding each other and helping the narrative
self transcend the confinement and achieve the rebirth and development. Cathedral is a perfect example of the spacial
metaphorical narrative art. |
