|Experimental study on recycled aggregate concrete filled circular steel tubular columns under axial compression

| Eight circle recycled aggregate concrete-filled steel tube columns have been tested under concentrically compressive load. The influence that the slenderness ratio, the thickness of the steel tube, and replacement rate of the demolished concrete blocks have on axial compression performance has been studied and the bearing capacity, axial deformation, axial and circular strain etc have been obtained. The test results show that the specimens is mainly the elasto-plastic instability failure. The slenderness ratio has the certain influence on the bearing capacity of the specimen, the axial compressive bearing capacity decreases with the increase of the slenderness ratio of the specimen. The wall thickness of the steel tube has greater influence on the bearing capacity of the specimen, and the greater the wall thickness of the steel tube, the greater the ultimate bearing capacity. Demolished concrete block has little effect on the bearing capacity of axial compression.
