| 英国作为工业革命的发源地，其经济在18世纪中叶得到迅猛发展，在此背景下产生了以工业为依托的城市，而在20世纪伴随英国经济的衰退与城市中心区域的衰败，这些城市的中心区域变成犯罪高发的空间。在通过社会层面与物质空间层面的分析，探究导致城市不安全的因素，通过在城市设计中强调政策导引、土地利用规划、物质空间设计、交通安全规划四个具体的设计策略来提高城市的安全性。英国诺丁汉的城市安全计划案例分析验证了以上策略对提高城市安全性的作用 |

| As the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, the economy of Britain has been developed rapidly in the mid-18th century, on this context, there were a series of industry-based cities. How ever, in the 20th century, the city centre of there cities had became the high crime space as the decline of Britain economy and recession of the city center area. Through analyzing the social and physical di mension and understanding criminal behavior, the factors led to the unsafe of the city could be under stood, based on the existing methods, using urban design included four design strategies which is the reasonable policy guidance, land use planning, space design, safe traffic planning to improve the secu rity of the city. Taking the city security plan of Nottingham validate the important role of the above design strategy to improve urban safety. |
