Taking Liujiafan village as an example, based on the theory of Complex Adaptive Systems, the evolutionary characteristics and predicaments of public spaces in tourism-oriented traditional villages are analyzed, and regulatory strategies are proposed. The research indicates that during the tourism development, the evolution of public spaces in Liujiafan village has manifested the characteristic that transforming from self-organization to multi-subject collaborative symbiosis, which promotes the continuous development of the village's public spaces. By applying spatial syntax and SD semantic analysis methods, it is found that Liujiafan village is facing problems in public space evaluation, such as inadequate multi-subject participation, low public space connection, and weak cultural inheritance effect. Hence, based on the theory of complex adaptive systems, regulatory strategies are proposed, such as the enhancement of the multi-center subject network, the connectivity of various types of public spaces and differentiated guidance, and the functions of different types of public spaces . |
